We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. Duties
Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently to optimise seating arrangements
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns with professionalism
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting zones
Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and process payments securely
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations throughout service hours
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
