About Us:

We are an established Chinese takeaway known for our authentic flavours and excellent customer service. We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Front of House Team Member to join our team and help us deliver a great dining and takeaway experience.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone

Handle cashier duties, including taking payments accurately and efficiently

Manage online orders through platforms such as Uber Eats, Just Eat, and others

Assist with food preparation tasks such as packing takeaway orders

Answer telephone calls and handle customer enquiries

Gain knowledge of our menu items to answer customer questions and make recommendations

Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the front of house area

Support the kitchen and management team as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, or customer service is an advantage (but not essential)

Strong communication skills in English; Cantonese-speaking is a strong plus (Mandarin is also an advantage)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude

Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and POS systems

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods

Hours:

35 hours per week

6 days a week with Tuesdays off

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4pm - 9:30pm

Friday, Saturday 4pm - 10pm
