As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve engaging with customers, assisting with their needs, and contributing to a positive dining experience. You will play a vital part in our team, working closely with kitchen staff to ensure that food preparation and service run smoothly.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating strong upselling skills to enhance their dining experience. Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of food items. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for swift resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during busy periods. Support colleagues in various roles as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. A passion for culinary arts and providing outstanding hospitality experiences.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
