We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Manage guest billing accurately and process payments efficiently using cash or card methods
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and good hygiene practices
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing procedures
Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen environments is advantageous
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, and holidays as required
A proactive attitude with a team-oriented approach to work
