Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing guest interactions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, ensuring customer satisfaction. Be able to communicate with kitchen staff clearly and confidently. Multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties, processing payments, ensure the dining area is kept clean. Completing end of shift requirements to ensure that the area is ready for the next shift Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide accurate information to guests. Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and cash handling.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. A good understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable. Skills in time management to handle busy periods effectively. Strong guest service skills with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for customers.

Hours

Hours Tuesday to Friday 8.30am -4pm Saturday 9am-5pm or Sunday 10am-4pm (moving forward once fully trained)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 10.00-13.50 per hour
