FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF EXPECTATIONS

As part of this role, we expect you to:

Deliver Mettricks hospitality by prioritising customer focus. Follow directives from your Supervisor, ensuring efficient task completion. Uphold cleanliness standards. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, creating a safe workspace. Actively seek learning opportunities to enhance flexibility in service. Respect diverse viewpoints and confirm understanding through active listening. This role offers progression into Barista upon completion of the training program.

FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

On the shop floor:

Work daily on the shop floor, setting and upholding Mettricks hospitality standards.*
Minimise product wastage by accurately recording shift-based wastage.*
Complete delegated weekly and daily tasks, including opening/closing procedures and checklists.*
Ensure absolute cleanliness and order on the shop floor.*

General:

Maintain a professional demeanour, representing Mettrick's values on the shop floor and within the wider coffee community.*
Foster a sense of community and care by welcoming and connecting with every customer.*
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations consistently.*

This role is integral to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere at Mettricks, promoting both the brand's values and its standing within the Southampton speciality coffee community.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
