Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit.
Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
Handle guest enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly.
Manage payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
Assist in setting up dining areas before service and clearing after closing.
Experience & Qualities
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is required.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with serving procedures and guest service best practices.
Excellent time management skills, especially during busy service periods.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Experience with kitchen operations or culinary work is a plus.
A
