In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food ,maintaining food safety standards, and engaging with customers to enhance their dining experience. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions where possible. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of food items. Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge of menu offerings and service techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services and teamwork. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills in food preparation is highly valued.
