We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant public/restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their drinking and dining experience. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of guest services, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
Assist with food preparation in the kitchen as needed, adhering to culinary standards and food safety protocols. (minimal)
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, floors, and service stations.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food delivered to guests.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Ensuring cellar Is fully stocked and ales ready for use ( training will be given)
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
Skills in food preparation or culinary arts are beneficial for assisting in the kitchen when required.
Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Time management skills are crucial for handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Previous bar experience is a must, cellar knowledge is an advantage but training can be given.
Must be confident to have sole responsibility on occasion
