We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant and bar team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience. Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Handle cash transactions and process payments, utilising basic math skills for accuracy. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders. Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable, but not necessary for the right candidate. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Time management Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly demeanour. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience. The right attitude to get it done, and have fun doing it!
