Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and effective communication during busy periods. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and bill handling.

Skills

Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards. Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen roles is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill processing. Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to create memorable dining experiences. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a genuine approach to customer interaction.
