Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Server to join a modest yet stylish banqueting diner/restaurant in Edgware HA8 area. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Please note the higher end pay is based on your experience

Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner

- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers

- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner

- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly

- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas

- Process payments accurately using POS system

- Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred

- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations

- Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience

- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Skills:

- Culinary knowledge for menu recommendations and ingredient inquiries

- Food preparation skills for assisting in the kitchen when needed

- Excellent guest service skills to ensure customer satisfaction

- Knowledge of food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe dining environment

- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff for efficient order preparation

- Upselling abilities to promote menu items and increase sales

Sun-Fri 3pm-11pm

Fridays morning only

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
