Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Provide attentive guest services, addressing any concerns or requests professionally Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations Follow food safety and hygiene protocols diligently Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems and handle payments efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Experience in serving or guest services roles demonstrates strong interpersonal skills Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential; training will be provided for specific duties
