Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your responsibilities will include managing customer interactions, waiting tables, barista, bar, as well as assisting with food preparation when required to support back of house team, as well as maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Manage cash handling and process payments accurately using basic maths skills. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and high-quality service. Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic culinary knowledge is advantageous for assisting with food preparation tasks. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while engaging with customers. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour to enhance guest interactions. A team player who can work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 40 per week
