Join our small team as Front of House Staff, where you will be the heartbeat of our cafe! You'll create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve engaging with customers, preparing delicious beverages, and ensuring that every visit is memorable. The role will be 15 hours a week with the opportunity for extra hours when needed.
What you'll do
Greet and assist customers with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items.
Prepare high-quality coffee beverages and food items while adhering to food safety and handling standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math for sales and cashiering duties.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience and streamline operations.
Uphold food preparation standards and practices to guarantee the highest quality of service.
Basic qualifications
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience in food service or retail environments is highly desirable.
Barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices in the food industry.
Experience with cash handling and retail math skills.
