You will provide our guests with excellent service: as a friendly voice on the phone, an amicable contact by email or with a welcoming smile at check-in. At the front desk and in our Reservations department, you will be responsible for:
Looking after our guests, including check-in and check-out
Reviewing and processing bookings, overbookings and options
Maintaining Mews or Opera, as well as our electronic bookings systems
Producing and verifying invoices, including managing payments
Cash transactions and cashing up
Administrative and organisational tasks (e.g. managing no-shows, answering emails)
Qualifications
Whether you are a hotel professional or changing careers - you will fit in here! Because personality and hosting skills are our priority. You will also:
Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel/catering/customer call centre industry or be looking for a change of career
Have an excellent sense of quality and service, as well as hosting skills and a passion for the hotel industry
Be open and communicative and have a solid command of (written and spoken) English
Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments - we achieve our results together
Knowledge of Mews or Opera and Front Office PMS is an advantage
Should work 3 Reservations shifts and one Reception shift ( Total 32 hours a week)
Must have the right to work in the UK ( please note the Company does not provide sponsorship Visas)
