Killeavy Castle Estate is seeking a Front Office Supervisor for it's award-winning hotel.

The Front Office Supervisor will primarily be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Front of House function. To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will enjoy the prospect of working in a fast-paced, busy working environment and, ideally, have experience in a busy 4property.
To work with the Management team to optimise profits, improve efficiencies and communication and increase sales; promote new and diverse business. Provide support to the senior management for all hotel operations and work directly with and support all Heads of Departments in all aspects of the running of Killeavy Castle Estate.

Strong people skills is a primary requirement/focus of this role. Someone who gives priority to emotional intelligence and is very aware of their own presence and nurturing and coaching these skills within the team to constantly improve our guest and team interaction is vitally important.

Key Duties and Responsibilities;



To ensure that service levels are maintained to the highest degree and particular attention is paid to client care to ensure that all guests receive the highest quality of service and attention

A thorough knowledge of the Hotsoft System is required to ensure correct procedures are always followed

Ensure staff provide a professional and warm welcome to all guests

Ensure that all Reception staff are trained and are fully conversant with all aspects of Hotsoft PMS

Collate and deliver accurate reports on all aspects of reception on request from senior management

Assist with preparing weekly rosters

Ensure that all desks are appropriately manned to ensure service levels are met, ensuring adequate cover for any staff absences

Actively manage and develop the reception team including the day and night porterage department

Have a thorough understanding of all requirements of the check in/out process (confirm booking, length of stay, packages, etc.)

Handle guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner

Ensure all cash, guest charges, floats and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy

Lead and assist in the smooth running of the front office desk during own shift

Duty management shift as required

Key Skills and Experience include;



Previous experience in a similar role in a 4/5-star property

Minimum 1 years in a supervisory role

Excellent customer focused manner at all times

Proactive positive attitude and must possess strong strategic thinking skills

The ability to communicate effectively at all levels

A good eye for detail and a desire to take responsibility, through to resolution, for issues and concerns generated by our guests

Flexibility with working hours is essential
