About the Role





As a Full Stack developer, you will work within a team of IT professionals (developers, testers, project managers and engineers) in an Agile environment. You will be primarily responsible for the delivery of a Whitelabel Web Application that will streamline our existing web portal.



As part of our web development team, you will work closely with the designers and backend developers to implement a frontend Angular website, utilising existing modules to provide a flexible, responsive solution. You will also be involved in updating the existing AWS infrastructure as code to apply customer-based theming.



This is a contract role for 6 months initially



Accountabilities





Develop and test user-facing features and backend services Build reusable code and libraries that build upon existing systems Work in conjunction with product owners and development leads to ensure the technical feasibility of the solution Optimize code for maximum speed, performance and scalability Take ownership and work at pace Resolve blockers and flag up issues quickly Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications


Role Requirements/Dimensions





2+ years of experience with Angular 2+ years of experience with JavaScript / Typescript Experience with HTML/CSS and Responsive design Testing frameworks such as Jest / Junit / Cyprus Some Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway and CloudFront Knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS Some CloudFormation or Terraform experience and advantage Excellent communication skills
