Summary

Seeking a skilled

Frontend Developer

to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces across multiple digital platforms and websites. The role involves collaborating with designers, backend developers, and delivery teams to bring user-centred designs to life and ensure seamless user experiences.

The Frontend Developer will be responsible for building robust, maintainable, and scalable codebases using modern web technologies. This position requires strong technical expertise in frontend frameworks, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering performant, secure, and accessible web solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy responsive, user-friendly, and accessible web interfaces. Translate design mockups, wireframes, and prototypes into high-quality frontend code. Collaborate closely with designers and UX teams to ensure design fidelity and usability. Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs. Ensure adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and web performance best practices. Maintain code quality through version control (Git), code reviews, and automated testing. Optimise web applications for speed, scalability, and reliability across devices and browsers. Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues in a timely manner. Contribute to the development and maintenance of component libraries and design systems. Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, web development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Proven experience as a

Frontend Developer

delivering modern, production-ready web applications. Strong proficiency in

HTML5

,

CSS3

, and

JavaScript (ES6+)

. Hands-on experience with

modern frontend frameworks

such as

React

,

Vue.js

, or

Angular

(React preferred). Solid understanding of

responsive and mobile-first design principles

. Experience working with

RESTful APIs

and integrating frontend with backend systems. Familiarity with

version control systems
