Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various fried items to perfection while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality meals that meet our customers' expectations. Shifts available are Wednesday to Saturday 3pm to 9.30pm

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain food standards. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
