Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of fried foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a range of fried dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including all frying equipment. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed. Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by reporting stock levels of cooking supplies and ingredients.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or kitchen setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, particularly frying methods. A passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

The successful candidate must have weekend availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.39-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
