About the Role
As a Retail Assistant, you'll provide an exceptional customer experience across our retail spaces. You will maintain a good knowledge of products, merchandising standards and the city's wider retail offer. You will also ensure public safety and the security of the retail stock, cash, collections and buildings too.
The post holder will be based at Millennium Gallery in our Crafted at Christmas retail space. Please note that hours may differ per day.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors within retail spaces
Engage with customers by proactively promoting sales and the upselling of products within the retail space
Process deliveries, damages, and general retail administration
Process cash and card transactions, including cashing up at the end of the day
Ensure that the retail space is restocked daily, and that shop presentation is maintained throughout the retail space
Take part in stocktakes throughout the year, including annual stocktake for year end
