Are you ready to transform legacy systems into modern, cloud-first applications? We're looking for an adaptable Full Stack Developer to join a growing digital platform business modernising the home moving experience across the UK.
This is a hands-on role in a Microsoft- and Azure-centric environment, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and contributing to architectural decisions. You'll be building secure, high-performance applications across the full software lifecycle--from analysis and design through to implementation and deployment.
What You'll Be Working On
Backend (C# / .NET Core):
Building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core (controllers and minimal APIs)
Working with background services, middleware, and asynchronous workflows
Applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or modular architecture principles
Debugging, profiling, and writing testable, performant code
Cloud (Azure):
Deploying and managing Azure Function Apps, App Services, and API Management
Using Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Key Vault
Designing scalable, event-driven architecture patterns
Selecting appropriate Azure services for different use cases
DevOps & Infrastructure as Code:
Creating and maintaining multi-stage YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps
Integrating unit, integration, and smoke tests into CI/CD workflows
(Optional) Experience with ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
Frontend:
Building modern SPAs with React, Angular, or Blazor
Handling API integration, state management, and authentication
Applying responsive design, accessibility, and component-based architecture
Database (SQL Server / Azure SQL):
Writing efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
Designing schemas and tuning performance using execution plans
Managing code-first migrations with EF Core
What We're Looking For
Strong experience in full stack development in Microsoft environments
Practical Azure deployment and architecture experience
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and infrastructure as code
Experience modernising or migrating legacy systems
A collaborative, proactive developer with strong problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (or equivalent)
Degree in Computer Science or a related field
