Insight Travel Services Ltd is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to assist with day to day accounting activities within the finance department. The company is a shared service centre for The Travel Corporation Group, a global travel business with many brands and offices throughout the world. The office is located within Inverclyde and provides services to various group companies.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of finance duties including but not limited to -
Monthly bank reconciliations
Credit card, cash in advance and other balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes
Ad hoc financial duties
Key skills -
Previous experience of working within a finance team (or relevant qualification)
Strong focus and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook
Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
Proactive and flexible attitude
