Our Head Office is based in Debenham. We are professional and proactive and deliver a consistently high level of personal customer service to each of our commercial automotive clients, all motor groups and their dealership networks, while supporting their valued customers across the UK.
Our Head Office Accounts team provide a wide range of accounts, MMI reporting and administration support to our growing network of mobile owner/ operator franchisees and their technicians on a daily basis.
Who we are seeking:
Due to further expansion we are seeking a reliable, hard-working, highly motivated, highly organised, precision based, Part-time Accounts Assistant to join our existing accounts team.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company reporting directly to the operations director.
Previous experience using QuickBooks Online accountancy programs/software is essential.
Responsibilities include:
Processing sales ledger and purchase ledger invoices/ receipts accurately and timely
Management of obtaining PONs in a timely and efficient manner
Operating QBO accounting software to manage financial data efficiently
Preparing and delivering fortnightly client statement runs
Liaising with new and existing clients and franchisees via Telephone, WhatsApp and email
Setting-up of New Client Accounts
Managing the due diligence, credit checking and data entry of New Client Accounts
Handling incoming emails and phone calls with exceptional customer service
Meeting deadlines and handling any queries in a timely manner
Supporting the existing accounts team in all daily operations
Assisting in other general day to day accounts/ admin duties
The successful candidate will need:
AAT Qualified to Level 1 or ICB Equivalent Part Qualified preferred
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks online/ desktop)
Strong knowledge of sales ledger and purchase ledger processes
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Error free, precision based data entry skills
Faultless written communication, spelling & grammar essential
Excellent Customer Service Skills both on the telephone and in writing
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
To be friendly and professional with a positive attitude
The candidate must have confident IT skills with experience in QuickBooks Online and latest Microsoft Office 365 programs - Word, Excel & Outlook. AAT/ ICB Qualification will be highly advantageous. Those with SAGE 200, SAGE 50 or Xero Accounts experience, also considered.

AAT Level 1 Accreditation or ICB equivalent (or above) preferred and highly advantageous

Bookkeeping/ Accounts: 2 years minimum (required)
Living in the local 'IP' postcode location
Work Location: 100% Office Based in Debenham (IP14)
Transport: Car Owner/ Driver essential
