We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children within the nursery setting, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times Support organised activities that promote early childhood development, including play, learning, and social interaction Help maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow Collaborate with senior staff to plan and implement age-appropriate educational programmes Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare Support management in supervising junior staff or volunteers as required Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and updating child profiles Drive company vehicles when necessary for outings or errands related to nursery operations

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Strong management and leadership skills to support team coordination and children's activities Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications or relevant certifications are highly desirable Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and organisational skills Valid driving licence preferred for transportation duties Experience with managing groups of children and facilitating engaging activities is advantageous
