Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Witney practice on a full-time basis due to an increased number of projects coming into the practice. We are a small practice mainly working on small to medium-scale residential and commercial properties in the Oxfordshire area. Successful candidate will be required to work in the office and visit clients and sites. Salary / hourly rate up for discussion based on candidate's experience.

Undertake measured surveys

Draw up surveys

Use clients brief to develop proposed schemes

Prepare drawings for planning submission

Produce detailed drawing for Building Regs submissions and construction

Assist with ongoing review of design and construction

Liaise with other consultants and suppliers required during development plans

Liaise with clients and contractors to answer any queries during the build phase

Architecture/Technologist graduate or Architectural Technology degree or HND/C Computer Aided Architectural Design and Technology or HNC/HND Building Studies

Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice would be preferable

Proficient in Archicad would be preferred. Training can be provided in house for the right candidate.

Excellent written and communication skills

Skilled at problem solving, and able to work under own initiative

Sound knowledge of planning policies and UK building regulations

Familiar with submission of applications through Planning Portal

Familiar with submission of applications to utility providers

Full UK driving license, and access to own car for site visits

Knowledge of Photoshop and/or TwinMotion would be desirable, but training can be given to the right candidate
