Responsibilities

Serve drinks and food to customers in a timely and friendly manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Prepare and mix beverages according to standard recipes while showcasing creativity in drink presentation. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently, utilising basic math skills for accurate billing. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring every guest has a positive experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. Strong hospitality skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain health standards within the bar environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively. A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
