Duties

Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Develop and implement innovative beverage menus that enhance the overall dining experience. Train and mentor team members in hospitality best practices, serving techniques, and product knowledge. Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service during peak hours. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.

Experience

Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is essential. Familiarity with barista duties is an advantage but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and staff alike.
