Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing exceptional service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area. Previous experience is not essential, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Duties

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including cleaning glasses and utensils Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked throughout shifts Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience Follow all health and safety regulations, including checking IDs for legal drinking age

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously Basic numeracy skills for handling payments accurately Knowledge of standard drink recipes is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety
