We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our cafe remains a welcoming space for all customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations and customer areas Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring basic math skills are applied correctly Assist in food preparation tasks as required, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and equipment Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in food handling Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and engagement Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
