Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to run and manage our cafe at the front of our Pilates studio. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and your ability to connect with customers will enhance their experience at our Cafe.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Some food prep , making smoothies etc . Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe and kitchen. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Experience

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to craft quality beverages. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Experience in serving food and beverages in a fast-paced setting will be advantageous. Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management skills are necessary to thrive in a busy cafe environment.
