Duties

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and service counters. Support catering efforts for events by preparing and delivering food items as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices throughout all tasks. Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for all guests. Assist with bartending duties when required, ensuring responsible service of alcoholic beverages.

Skills

Experience in catering or food preparation is highly desirable. Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining environment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being proactive in individual tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike. Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the cafe as needed, including bartending duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.63 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
