The Role (Key Responsibilities)

The Art of Care:

Plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious, delicious, and beautifully presented meals (breakfast, lunch, and supper) and use fresh seasonal products whenever possible for up to 40 people.

Person-Centred Menus:

Create varied, seasonal, and exciting four-week rolling menus, incorporating preferences and feedback.

Dietary Expertise:

Confidently manage and prepare modified diets (e.g., texture-modified, diabetic, allergen-free) in line with the IDDSI framework (training provided if needed).

Kitchen Management:

Maintain our 5-star hygiene award and standards, manage stock, control budgets, and adhere to HACCP and COSHH regulations. We operate through Safer Food Better Business

What You'll Need (Essentials)

- Relevant catering qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent). - Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment. - A genuine interest in the well-being of people, including those with learning disability and Autism. - Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient manner. Weekend availability for which there is an enhanced rate.

Please note due to our lovely rural setting candidates should have their own transport, as public transport options here can be very limited and at times unreliable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week
