Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Deli Associate to join our team at Cathcarts Centra Toome ( Roguery Road). It is a Full Time Permanent position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food service, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a keen eye for food safety and presentation. The Hours of Business are 6am-3pm Monday to Friday & 7am-3pm on weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of deli foods, including slicing meats, cheeses, and preparing salads or sandwiches according to company standards Serve customers promptly and courteously at the deli counter Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management to ensure product availability Follow all health and safety guidelines during food preparation and service Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or catering is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is advantageous Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: 12.21-12.80 per hour
