Henllan Bakery is one of the UK's leading independent Wholesale Craft Bakers. We are looking for a skilled Driver to join our growing team.
The successful person will form an integral part of the Transport Department, working together to provide excellent customer service for our wide-ranging customer base, which includes retail chains, independent cafes and delis to pubs, schools and hospitals.

Duties & Responsibilities

To start with, you will be supported with training for your route, typically just over a week. A confident driver with experience in navigating around Mid Wales. Have a clean UK driving license. Ideally have multi-drop experience. Be a safe and diligent driver adhering to the highway code and minimizing damage to company vehicles. Your shift will generally start at around 3 am so your late mornings and afternoons will be your own. You will also enjoy plenty of autonomy. As a driver you'll be given delivery notes, from which you'll accurately load your vehicle with our products. Your route for the day will be pre set Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service, that develops strong relationships, exceeds their expectations and on occasion, be able to manage difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner, as well as acting as an ambassador for our brand. You will work a defined rota 5 mornings a week. Those mornings being every Monday to Saturday including Bank Holidays.
