As a Dental Nurse, you will assist in various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing chairside support Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols Ensure that patient records are accurately maintained and updated Provide excellent patient care, addressing any questions or concerns with empathy and professionalism Manage appointment schedules, ensuring efficient use of time for both patients and dental staff Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is advantageous IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
