We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food To Go Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food options are prepared accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our customers. You will play a crucial part in the dining experience by managing the preparation of food for take-out, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting with upselling to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and package food orders for take-out, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with food safety guidelines. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of orders during peak hours. Perform basic maths calculations for order accuracy and inventory management. Support food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is highly beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for order processing and inventory control. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to assist in food preparation while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.
