Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons while ensuring that their dining experience is both enjoyable and memorable. We close on Sundays and everyone is home by 4.30pm everyday, great numeration for the right candidates!

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive timely service, particularly during peak hours. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues swiftly and satisfactorily. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with dietary requirements or preferences.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous, alongside basic culinary skills or kitchen experience. Strong time management skills are essential for maintaining efficiency during busy periods. Basic mathematical skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. A background in serving or guest services will be beneficial in delivering exceptional customer care.
