Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic hotel, bar and restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their visit. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but a positive attitude and a passion for service are equally valued.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing recommendations when appropriate Serve dishes and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times Assist with food preparation and organisation in the front-of-house area as needed Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Manage payments accurately using POS systems, including handling cash and card transactions Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in all areas of the venue. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is important Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing bills Experience with serving, food preparation, or culinary activities is advantageous Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales performance

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
