We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a welcoming demeanour, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the hotel services and facilities.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner.
Maintain accurate records of guest bookings and manage reservations using hotel management software.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and organisation at the reception area.
Assist with administrative tasks as required, including filing and data entry.
Experience
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills are crucial for this role.
A passion for guest services with a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for all visitors.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
