Reel Fish and Chips has now arrived in Oldham! We have expanded from our current branch in Bolton and are looking to recruit an individual who will combine between kitchen and counter duties. We are looking for an individual who is available to work weekends and weekday shifts where some of the shifts will start at 11am and some will finish at 11pm. It must be an individual dedicated to excellent customer service with a desire to provide over the top customer service to anyone who walks through our doors!! Would ideally suit someone outgoing with experience in the retail industry and willing to demonstrate the ability to work by their own initiative.

Responsibilities:

- Take responsibility in the kitchen to help prepare the food at the start of the day
- Provide exceptional customer service by serving customers coming in to buy food or placing orders via other platforms
- Assist customers with product information, order placement, and order collection
- Perform data entry onto the till epos system
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Upsell products or services to customers when appropriate
- Maintain the cleanliness and strict hygiene standards of the whole premises at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with other team staff members to create a positive working environment

Requirements:
- Excellent etiquette and communication skills in English
- Strong desire to provide high quality customer service
- Strong desire to grow and establish the REEL brand in the area in a positive light
- Ability to analise customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Previous experience in a customer service role is required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 45 per week
