Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Inn South Stainley, located in the heart of the countryside. This role is crucial in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency are maintained, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organized. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils. Support chefs by providing necessary ingredients and supplies. Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety standards. Help maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Working Monday to Friday from 11.30am-3.30pm then 5.30pm-finish (approx. 11.00pm) depending on how quickly you can complete closedown checklists.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and teamwork mentality. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks. Physical stamina and energy are essential

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42 per week
