We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties

Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to comply with health and safety regulations. Support with waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with environmental policies. Restock supplies and organise storage areas to ensure all necessary items are readily available. Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas where required. Follow all hygiene standards and safety procedures diligently at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, or culinary practices is advantageous. Experience working in a busy kitchen or serving environment is beneficial. Familiarity with health and safety standards within a hospitality setting is preferred.
