Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are adhered to. Help with the storage and organisation of kitchen supplies and ingredients. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing timely assistance. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry.
