Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks across different trades. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry, with opportunities to develop skills in multiple disciplines including, plumbing and carpentry. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to high-quality building projects.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and organisation of bathroom installations, including loading and unloading materials. Supporting tradespeople with tasks such as mixing materials, holding tools, and providing general assistance. Handling and operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assisting with plumbing, electrical work, as required. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to. Assisting with site logistics, including moving materials and equipment around the site efficiently. Following instructions from supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of safety.

Experience

Prior experience or familiarity with construction-related tasks is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific skills. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely is preferred. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills within the construction industry is essential. Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites will be beneficial.
