Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients in their homes or care facilities. This role involves working closely with seniors, individuals with dementia, and those requiring specialised care, while fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Support clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping. Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with specific needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant professionals. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in patient care or home care is highly desirable. Familiarity with dementia care and senior care practices is an advantage. Certification in First Aid is preferred. A background in nursing or related fields will be considered an asset. Candidates should demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills while being able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: 700.00-800.00 per week
