Set in 75 acres of beautiful parkland, a beautiful 15th-century part-moated manor house hosts hundreds of multi-cultural weddings, Private events and is a preferred corporate hire venue in Essex.

Job Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and the premises to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Duties - Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment - Repair faulty equipment or systems promptly to minimize downtime - Inspect buildings, structures, and systems for issues and make necessary repairs - Perform electrical repairs and installations as needed - Basic Plumbing skills necessary - Basic carpentry skills are necessary- Supervise and coordinate maintenance work carried out by external contractors - Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed Skills - Proficiency in Plumbing , Painting and basic carpentry are a bonus - Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs - Ability to read and interpret schematics for machinery - Excellent leadership skills to supervise maintenance staff effectively - Good command of English for clear communication with team members and management - Customer service-oriented approach when dealing with internal stakeholders - - Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
