We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for swimming and a commitment to educating individuals of all ages in water safety and swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor for Sim City, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring that each participant feels confident and safe while developing their swimming skills.

Duties

Conduct engaging swim lessons for individuals and groups of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and personal fitness through Swim City structured lesson plans. Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their swimming goals. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good condition. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, concerns, and any necessary adjustments to lesson plans. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities form Swim City to enhance teaching methods and stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching swim lessons is preferred. Strong ability to educate individuals of varying ages and skill levels effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with the ability to inspire confidence in learners. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching others. Strong organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage time during sessions. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Pay: Up to 18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
