Pottery Trimmer/ Workshop assistant (Maternity Cover)

Fixed-term (August 2025 - July 2026)

Working Hours:

3-4 days per week, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Experience:

No experience needed - full training provided

Pay:

12.21 per hour

About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pottery Trimmer to join our team to cover maternity leave from August 2025 to July 2026. This is a hands-on role working with pottery, refining and finishing each piece before it moves on to drying and firing. You'll be part of a supportive, creative team where precision and care are key.

Key Responsibilities:

Trimming and finishing leather-hard pottery Maintaining consistency and quality in each piece Cleaning and organizing tools and workspace Assisting with general studio duties as needed e.g kiln stacking and openings Working collaboratively with other members of the studio team

No previous experience is necessary
